Maybe one star is a bit harsh, but two would have been generous. These sheets are super thin - maybe the thread count is right, but those must have been the thinnest little threads ever... It doesn't feel at all like the good, thick sateen cotton like you get from other companies like Pinzon. Aside from being thin, it is scratchy on my skin and this doesn't get any better with washing. In fact, it has started to pill a little. The seams on the pillow cases don't match up, there are loose threads everywhere that had to be cut off. The hemstitching looks like I did it on my old Brother machine and not too neatly... In general, not worth the money. (I paid about 60 plus shipping, I think - not cheap.) Should've paid up a bit for some better sheets. But the colour (coral) is nice, and exactly what I wanted.
