We needed a comforter that was warm and yet lightweight and this one is absolutely perfect. It more than covers our king size bed with plenty to spare. The 'mink' side is very soft and silky (not clingy) and the berber is just the right thickness. I expected this to be alot heavier weight but it turned out to be far lighter than we thought, about the weight of a quilt maybe. It was so comfy that our kids kept trying to steal it so we ended up buying two more for their beds!
