I absolutely love this heating blanket. It is so soft and keeps me nice and warm even on the low settings. I also like how it will go off after a certain amount of time. Let's just say, if I run out of my bedroom in the morning and forget to turn it off, that it will turn off on it's own. A very good thing not to worry about when you have to leave your house in a rush. Don't want to worry about a fire hazard, if you accidentally left it on. I don't use any other blankets with this and I live in New England, so I would say it does what it's supposed to! I love how soft and comfy it is, compared to other electric heating blankets. I love the color of it as well. Amazing quality! Will you feel the wires inside the blankets? Yes, you can. But much nicer than the normal electric blankets from the past. I love it! So glad I got one for myself. Now I want another one that is a throw for my living room!
