This child'sLazyNap Kids / Toddlers air mattress is the perfect solution for the on-the-go family and can easily be toted around in its small bag or left at Grandma's if need be. This bed has such a small footprint it can be easily tucked in the back of a closet or in a car when traveling. Ever check out how much they want for a cot in a hotel or motel? Add a few more dollars and you have this bed.

It inflated so quickly the three minutes they claim for inflation surely has to include taking it out of the bag, attaching it to the pump, and getting it started. On the top of the bed is a suede-like material that will keep sheets from slipping around once the bed is made up. If you need something with bumpers I also have the LazyNap Kids / Toddler Air Mattress with Wrap-Around Bumpers, the perfect solution for the youngster who has a tendency to fall out of bed or is transitioning to one.

Once inflated you can easily see it's not a tiny bed at 8" (D) x 37" (W) x 60" (L). It's sitting on a full-size bed for comparison. The air pump, with three valves, is also included. This is the type of air pump that can be used for other things as well. Taking down the bed was simple. You can choose to deflate the bed manually or by using the pump. I did it manually and folding it back up and getting it in the bag was intuitive, although there are visuals on the instructions.

One suggestion I'd make is that when you go to inflate the bed, place it on a soft surface to make sure it won't snag anything on the floor. Animals, especially cats, can easily puncture air mattresses. I always place a blanket beneath the air mattress as added insurance. There is a patch kit included, but a few precautions will prevent using it. This is a perfect solution for anyone needing a small bed when they are on-the-go. This bed is not recommended for very young children.
