There is NOTHING Egyptian about these sheets. I would be very upset, if I were Egyptian and someone is claiming any Egyptian affiliation to the very revered "egyptian cotton long staple thread" k!!!!!It is implied that these are cotton. NO THEY ARE NOT. I have bought them, returned them, and ended up being mad at myself for not catching the TWISTED MISLEADING WORDS that have nothing to do with cotton, but 100$ POLYESTER is made from crude oil. Check it out in a search engine and become knowledgeable about what is real fabric and what the chemically made ones are really made up of. Crude oil accounts for materials made into polyester, microfiber, acetate,foam, dacron,nylon, etc. I certainly wouldn't want to lay in a pool of oil. Nothing is more natural than cotton, linen, silk, wool and cashmere. Manufacturers use these chemically derived products and blend them into what originally was pure cotton.
